1. Who we are

MentalityMakers (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the platform available at mentalitymakers.com. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What the platform does

MentalityMakers is a personal productivity and goal-tracking application. It allows users to set goals, schedule sessions, track progress, and sync scheduled sessions to their Google Calendar. The platform is intended for personal use only.

3. Your account

• —You must have a valid Google account to use the platform.
• —You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• —You must not share your account with others or allow others to access it.
• —You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
• —You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• —Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• —Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
• —Interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers connected to it
• —Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
• —Impersonate any person or entity

5. Google Calendar integration

The platform connects to your Google Calendar to create and delete events corresponding to your scheduled goal sessions. By using this feature, you grant MentalityMakers permission to create and delete calendar events on your behalf. We only create events generated by the platform — we do not access, read, or modify any other calendar data. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

6. Your data

All goal, session, and commitment data you create belongs to you. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for any purpose other than operating the platform. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is stored and protected.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or experience downtime outside of our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unavailability of the platform.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if we determine continued access poses a risk to the platform or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at mentalitymakers@gmail.com. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MentalityMakers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity. The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
